A team including Dave published a paper earlier in 2026 entitled ‘Caldera faults can be
sintered volcanic conduits without necessarily requiring catastrophic rapid slip events’ In this talk
Dave will focus on the Glencoe caldera volcano, but if it is agreeable I would also give a few
Icelandic examples of calderas to provide wider context for Glencoe.
